Aerated concrete - YTONG

Description

YTONG is a porous building material produced from quartz sand, cement and water. It is used as a masonry construction material, in any type of building works, either as load-bearing masonry, or asinfill masonry.

Advantages

Thermal insulation: With a coefficient of thermal conductivity λ=0.09 kcal/mh°C, YTONG masonry (thickness 20 cm) ensures superior thermal insulation, which is superior to conventional masonry (double road brick with 5 cm extruded polystyrene).

High seismic resistance: Το µικρό βάρος της τοιχοποιίας από YTONG blocks (600 kg/m³) επιβαρύνει την οικοδοµή µε µικρά φορτία. Επίσης, λόγω της µονολιθικής τοιχοποιίας, τα φορτία µεταφέρονται οµοιόµορφα από τον σκελετό του κτιρίου στους τοίχους, βελτιώνοντας σηµαντικά τη συµπεριφορά του κτιρίου ακόµα και σε περιπτώσεις µεγάλων σεισµών.

Build speed – accuracy: 6.6 pieces of YTONG block build 1m2 of masonry. The zero deviations in the dimensions give absolute precision and flatness in the construction.

Fire safety: High fire protection since the fire resistance index of YTONG block reaches 6 hours (F 180 from the thickness of 15cm and above).

Low weight: The 20cm thick YTONG block masonry has a weight of 120kg/m2. The corresponding masonry with brick and insulation has a weight of: 360kg/m².

YTONG U-Form Block

The U-Form Block comes to replace the traditional senage, thus speeding up the construction and at the same time protecting it from thermal bridges. In addition, it can replace the preki, in case the opening does not exceed 1.25 m.

YTONG's reinforced prekis are available for many openings and thicknesses, in load-bearing or infill masonry constructions. Its preki is characterized by its great resistance to carrying loads.

YTONG glue

YTONG's glue KLW130 (white) and KLG131 (grey) is a bonding mortar, suitable for the welding of Blocks. It contains cement, quartz sand and admixtures.

YTONG saw

The hand saw for YTONG Blocks consists of 34 carbide teeth and is characterized by its high resistance to cutting Blocks. Its length is 80 cm.

YTONG Spatula

YTONG trowels are available for masonry thicknesses: 7.5, 10.15, 20, 25cm. Using these spatulas we achieve a quick and precise application of the construction, while ensuring low consumption of the glue.

Plugs for YTONG

GB 8 – 10 (Propeloid Anchor) for particularly effective and durable supports. The curved "wings" of the GB plug help to better support it in the YTONG Blocks masonry.
