What is composite lumber??
Composite timber, as it has come to be called, is mainly composite multi-glued beams. a)Beams of composite multi-glued timber (GLULAM)
Composite timber beams are mainly used in constructions (roofs, pergolas, gazebos, etc.). It is a modern building material. Advantages of composite timber beams:
a)long lengths
The lengths of the composite beams reach up to 13 or even 13.50 meters, which greatly facilitates us in every construction. By special order, composite timbers can be produced in much longer lengths, but there is a serious problem in transporting them.
b)Variety of dimensions
The usual and most common dimensions of composite timber are:

12 X 12 14 X 14 etc.
On request, many other dimensions can be delivered (lengths and cross sections), both in European fir wood (Scandinavia) and in pine wood (Scandinavia), in the dimensions desired by the customer. Also, by order, composite woods from iroko, niagon, meradi, etc. are delivered for special constructions.
c)Dimensional stability
Due to the production method and strict specifications, composite lumber has better characteristics than classic sawn or presawn lumber.
Composite timber has all the advantages of wood with high mechanical strength as well as great elasticity.
d)Low weight
Spruce composite wood has a specific weight of approximately 470 – 490 kg per m3. It is clearly lighter than many other materials that could alternatively be used in the same construction, such as iron, steel, concrete, etc.
